The staff needs to be retrained on Customer Services. It's the worse Credit Union. They made me so mad that I closed my account and paid off the auto loan.

I don't even have this Credit Union and after spending a hour searching the web to contact them I gave up. I was trying to contact them to help a family trying to obtain Medicaid for a loved one. I had to tell the family I couldn't help them. I tried to call and speak to a live person and there is no option for that. All the branches have the same number. What a waste of time. Poor family.

Can never get ahold of anybody. They say their chat log has 24 hour assistance but no ones available after 5pm? Theres also always multiple problems within the app. They restrict you from many things for no apparent reason at all, I currently cant even pay with my card online for anything for no reason at all. They decline all of my payments. Horrible bank. Will be switching soon.

As a long time customer for 25 years plus, I'm really disappointed/frustrated with Summit FCU. I understand about no walk in during pandemic but we're in 2023 and they still turned me down, twice. We were already on the road (East Henrietta) and decided to walked in today to open a new account for my son but was told we need appointment. Why couldn't they just have us sign up and wait like in the past? There's plenty of time left before closing. Someone did make sure they took the time to come and tell us that we need to make appointment, then going through all the rule about short staff, but the number of staffs that were there weren't any less than what we've seen before this new rule, seems too convenience. We drove to other credit union after we left, walk in no appointment needed, open a new account with no issue. Also, Summit FCU is so strict with their rules on multiple occasions, where they made it impossible for me to cash or deposit certain check but my other bank took care of it with no problem when Summit turned me down. I see no reason to stay loyal with them, so I am considering moving all my funds to the other bank very soon.
