People donate there things to them, and they are over pricing what they got free from people, and selling it at high prices to the poor people who actually go there trying to buy low priced items. No wonder they are supposed to be closing down soon, people probably don't go back due to the high prices. I certainly stopped going there because of the prices.

Have lived in the UES neighborhood for 19 years. Love this GW, great retail therapy, so many wonderful finds over the years..Such an important outlet for our Senior's. Super eze for drop off. Staff are very helpful. Nothing but good to say. Until I just heard after 24 years the store is closing on the UES. Seems the Landlord is refusing to negotiate the rent lease. Shame!! This is one of the busiest GW in the city. "GW empowers individuals with disabilities & barriers to employment to gain independence through the power of work" I say SHAME on this Landlord to take away this very important non profit. " Give Life" is the GW motto. So you take! Greed displayed alwsys comes back to you. As in Karma. Your time of need is coming. Wait & see. Evil never succeeds. Thank you GW!
