image Lived here since 2019. I love this apartment. So quiet. Community space & pool are amazing and so well maintained (Mike - the manager - is the kindest and the most professional person I have ever met). Joe (building manager) has that special charisman that you know that the building will be very nicely managed as soon as you meet him. I highly highly recommend this apartment.

image Its so sad to read those nagetive reviews, I have been living here for almost 4 years now, I loved everything about this building!the location is most convenient area in NYC,tons of different types of food around, the amenities are the best, they got rooftop that you can see entire Empire State Building and east and west river, indoor swimming pool and spa that you can relax every day,gym and yoga room are pretty good, breakfast and coffee daily, and all those are free,no any extra charges!the management Nicole is really professional, and arrange several holidays events and parties with Michael for residents ,offering a lot of free drinks, beers, wines !the front desk crew are super friendly,,Sam,Angle,Walker are like my families, always helped out ,the handyman are the most effective teams ever, solved problems in a day!not sure why those people are so upset about everything, for me,can not think of any place is better than living here!

image The building staff at Continental staff are top-notch. They make you feel like part of a community from the day you sign the lease. I lived here for 3 years and enjoyed every aspect of it, largely due to the concierge, leasing, and maintenance staff at Continental.
It is a crying shame that Continental is managed by NJ-based Middlesex Management, a giant heartless company who features poor customer service combined with deceptive business practices. They'll keep the interest earned on your security deposit as a "maintenance fee" even though it's been reported to the IRS as your earned income - so essentially, you pay income taxes on money that Middlesex keeps.
When I come back to NYC later this year, I'll stay far away from any building managed by these crooks.

image I'm a little shocked to read the negative reviews. I lived in the Continental from March 2021 - June 2022 and I had an amazing experience. The leasing agent Nicole P is attentive and professional and the front desk team (Sam, Angel, Walter, Bogdan et.al.) are EXTREMELY helpful. I had one issue come up with my floors buckling, but Joe C. arranged to have the floors replaced within 48 hours, which I thought was reasonable. My unit was STUNNING and I had a direct unobstructed view of the Empire State Building. I also loved the in-unit washer and dryer, which is rare for studios.
For constructive criticism, I'll say that it would be nice if the building hosted more community events. The building is close to Korea Town and if you don't identify with that community, you might feel ostracized. Also, keep in mind that the building is right next to Madison Square Garden and Penn Station, so the druggies, crazies, and obnoxious folks are definitely out in full force and on the prowl... and frequently pass by the building. If I ever moved back to the city, I'd love to move back!
