    This used to be Mr Shindlers office. Since Joseph Alfassa took over the customer service has been downhill. They have some incorrect information in there system, and i was told i don't qualify due to the incorrect information. When i asked for help to get the information correct Miranda Aliza laughed and told me to go call someone else because she doesn't know what i expect her to do.

    I was in an accident yesterday. The other driver T-boned me. When I called the Allstate office in the Bronx associated with Joseph Alfassa, I received the run around. They gave me inaccurate information, told me I needed to make a police report. Never expressed sympathy for my situation. They were rude and had me going to my local police station after I told them the police don't make reports for accidents unless there are injuries or the airbags deployed. I had a police sargeant speak to the agent and he still argued with the police over needing a police report. I was distraught and traumatized by the accident and received absolutely no help from the Allstate agent working in Mr Alfassa's office. He never called me back, never apologized, and never took my claim. I emailed Mr Alfassa this morning expressing my concern. As of yet he has not responded. I called the office and he has not returned my call. I've been a client for 20+ years and pay my premiums on time. The treatment I received was horrendous. There was no compassion, no concern. I ended up going to an Allstate office on Central Park Ave in Yonkers. There, I received assistance, compassion, and had my claim resolved. The female agent there was very kind and expressed dismay at the way I was treated. Both the police and the female agent felt the agent in Mr Alfassa's office simply did not want to do his job and was very poorly trained. He lacked compassion and knowledge. The claim department however was very through and compassionate. If I could give the office associated with Mr Alfassa in the Bronx 0 stars, I would. I have never been treated in such an abysmal manner by an insurance agent in my life. Mr Alfassa, you should train your agents so that they are knowledgeable and compassionate. That is what being in good hands mean. Clients are looking for some level of compassion and sympathy after enduring a traumatic and scary car accident. You should have returned my call, and as a business person, you should be ashamed that your agent acted in such a despicable manner.
