They did not clean the room and they took the towels and did not put new one in like come on

I tried to give this hotel a chance. But it asked for too many. The parking lot was down a hill a ways from the building so we unloaded in the road just outside and went to park. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was dated to God only knows when. Maybe early 90's?? It just kept going badly. The toilet flushed super slowly so you would be better off finding a common area bathroom for healthy poos. The shower head was tiny and the pressure of the water was unnh. The room coffee was terrible. The neighbors were loud and had a barking dog for a few hours. The room had an actual key for the door which I haven't seen before. The heater worked well but looked risky. We were staying a couple nights so I asked the front desk for additional coffee packets and they had none so no in room coffee I guess. A shining spot was the pool. It was clean and had plenty of towels. We probably won't stay here again given the cost for our stay was comparable to anywhere else. P.S. breakfast was terrible. They served egg disks and sausage patties. I literally took 1 bite and chewed but quickly walked over to the trash can and spit it out. I think I'm done staying overnight in North Conway hotels. This is why VRBO or Airbnb wins hands down.

We are temporarily homeless. My previous landlord needed my apartment for her family member .
Sleeping in a car when both of us are disabled and one of us is diabetic and recovering from surgery to keep the heart beating.
We wasted so much money on uhaul trucks, vans, boxes, storage units, helpers @ $100 each a day, and no place to go.
Using gas to run the car to keep us warm day & night and 5 days in 2 different hotels/2 different stays in MA.
It was not a good stay in Massachusetts. My medicine bag was stolen from the Hilton, but I'm still not recovered from the move.
We stood at the Best Western for 2 days with poor plumbing. The situation wasn't handled properly, but no compensation. I just got apologies from one desk clerk.
We ended up back in the car, but the diabetic,cardiac patient left their meds in the storage unit on a hot sun but cold day. We got the meds and went to McDonald's to refresh ourselves.
The diabetic ran into McDonald's for ice water, then became sick with severe hand & leg pain. I heard call 911, and they came fast. The patient was severely dehydrated and very low Pottassium.
We were there for 4 hrs, then released. I think by St Patrick's day, I woke up and saw my best friend sleeping with their face on the steering wheel.
It was 8 a.m., and I had enough of Massachusetts. I told my friend, " we are out of here!"
I heard where, too... I replied, " FOXRIDGE RESORT!" I got a smile and we were off.
I went on priceline . com and found out I could stay 5 nights for $300.00, yippee .
I used my ebt to fill the little refrigerator full, and I applied for several apartments. We went to Wal-Mart to get bathing suits but never made it to the pool.
The rates rose for Friday & and Saturday, but we couldn't afford the triple price. If I wasn't in such a financial bind, then we would have stayed at the " FOXRIDGE ".
My room had 2 beds, 2 bureaus, a small refrigerator with a small freezer, a coffee maker, with 2 kinds of coffee & tea. There was a folding door to the rear of the room with 2 single beds.
I woke up to my friend on the twin size bed . I asked "why you would leave a queen bed for a twin? "...reply was " it's cooler in here.
I could have lowered the heat, lol, geez.
My days were filled with going back and forth to the realtor. I wanted to really sleep for 3 days but I am looking forward to my own place.
Our money is tied up with one account negative over $400.00. I hope this doesn't affect our approval for apartments, but one of us used our ATM card at the Hilton, not me, lol.
I was able to get permission to stay with my son in ME for 14 days. We have 3 days left, then back to the car, and MA.
I wish I had friends or family who would let us sleep on their couch or take a shower, but some didn't respond. Some gave reasons that could have been resolved, some have plenty of rooms, and all in all, I can't worry about them anymore. It is what it is ...
How would you survive homelessness in the winter? I'm just curious ...
FoxRidge, you rock, and I will be back so we can try your pool, eat your free breakfast, enjoy my "Tubby Time,"
I gave 4 stars because of no tissues, tp, the last 2 days, according to the female desk clerk.
Sorry, I have to go. BTW, I definitely will be going back to the FOXRIDGE 4 hrs from MA
