Baymont by Wyndham Elko

What a great find in Elko! Clean,spacious and quiet. Has a fitness center,hot tub and is close to shopping and the freeway. I was greeted by Kathy, who was very kind and went above-and- beyond to make sure my stay was wonderful! I will stay here on all my business travels. Rooms: Very clean and spacious, lots of amenities. Nearby activities: Lots of shopping,park,food. Safety: It feels very safe and and quiet.

The rooms are old and the whole hotel needs an overhaul. The bathroom kept making a strange sucking noise throughout the night and the refrigerator was oddly loud. Plus my heater had limited temp control settings, so I was up and down turning it on/off before I gave up and slept with it off and with more blankets. The location is far from the downtown area where all the main casinos are, although that means it is also away from the crime hotspots. It sits on a hill, so great sunset views. There's no breakfast included which you get for similarly priced options, however, their dog fees are much cheaper than the other places.
