The James

I moved into the James on the day after it opened. The entire experience has been fabulous. I love Kirkwood and needed a nice place and this answered all of my needs. The building is high end with very incredible amenities. My apartment if very quiet so when I want peace and quiet I can get it. On the flip side, there have been several events for the community to get together and know the neighbors. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I could not ask for more and I am person that will let you know if I'm unhappy. Thanks for the great experience over the last 2.5 months!

Love the apartment and the location. Lot's of windows and natural light. Very quiet in the apartment. Kitchen, bathroom, and laundry area are top notch. The gym and rec area is amazing, can't wait for pool weather. Staff is great and had a very easy move. The garage parking is a huge plus where the car stay's parked on weekends as I can walk to pretty much anything I need.

We love living at The James. My husband and I moved in 6 weeks ago and have had a great experience. The facility is beautiful with its large pool and surrounding areas with cabanas, grill space, lounge chairs by the pool, and lovely landscaping. The Club Room is spacious with a pool table, fireplace, intimate seating areas all overlooking the beautiful pool space.We love the large workout area with up-to-date equipment. Haven't used the office spaces yet, but they are available. Our apartment seems to be "all windows" and the light pours in. We have ample storage space. Finally, the staff is extremely welcoming, responsive and competent. AND, we can walk all over downtown Kirkwood with it fabulous shops, restaurants and library. Join us!

We moved in the first part of February and the experience has been fantastic thus far. The leasing staff, management and building maintenance have been there for all our needs. They go the extra mile to research any question they cant directly answer and they respond promptly with the answers, the correct answers. The building itself is well designed as well as the unit we are in. The amenities are second to none. We moved here from a premier luxury high-rise directly across from Busch Stadium, One Cardinal Way. The simplest way I can compare the two is to say The James is every bit as nice, just on a smaller scale and in a FANTASTIC community. Its a new building, open less than 3 months at this point. Little things pop up but they are addressed quickly and communicated openly when resolved. I have worked in this community for over 25 years and have always wanted to live here, The James makes that possible for my family and Im proud to be a resident!!!!!
