Very poor management and maintenance. Would not recommend leasing any properties with them.

Rent from anyone else!! Horribly taken care of buildings, constant elevator breakdowns, dog poop in the stairwells and hallways often, mail theft regularly, roaches. This company has shut off my water without notice. Theyve shut off my electricity on accident and left my fridge OFF for hours leading to spoilage. Spend your hard earned income with another property

Please read the reviews here and do your research. Shady business practices and HORRIBLE management. We have lived in Central Park Apartments for almost 2 years now and have had countless issues. Packages are stolen constantly, about 50% of the packages that I leave downstairs for more than 5 min are stolen. They even open them and return them if there is nothing valuable. Ada says that management will not release the camera footage and we need to file a police report. Two police reports later, OF COURSE NOTHING HAPPENS, ITS ST LOUIS!! They are never getting to our cases. So there will never be a resolution. With this information, management still refuses to do anything and review footage on their own. I genuinely believe that either the cameras do not work, or there is someone from the management office making money on the side stealing things. We live on the third floor and the elevator has been broken over 75% of the time that weve lived here. Ive literally done the math. I got stuck in the elevator once and had to wait for them to come let me out. I asked for rent reduction since thats legitimately the only amenity in the building and they declined. I also came home one day to a mans footprints on my rug and things moved around in my bathroom. I had no maintenance request put in and no one called me, but maintenance came to fix a leak without my consent or even contacting me afterwards. Maintenance is hit or miss in general. Since they had so many complaints that residents threatened organizing a strike, they are finally starting to respond to questions faster. But faster doesnt mean better. I found out that for like 8 months, there was not an air filter in my AC unit because the tech just didnt replace it and took it out. We asked for our bathtub to be STRIPPED AND refinished because it was super chipped and had layers repainted, making it hard to clean. They just painted over it again so it rechipped within a month. Our washing machine had black mold when we moved in and we still to this day cannot get the smell out of it. The maintenance tech said that there isnt a fix for this. There was also black mold on all of the ceiling air vents when we moved in. I asked if they could clean the vents properly to remove the mold from the inside as well. They painted over the outside of the vents and called it fixed. Our allergies (and guests allergies) have been horrible since moving here and we are sure its the mold and dust from the vents. The apartment building is also just a dump. There are 3+ Airbnbs in the building and I think that this contributes to it, but I also just think that residents gave up on trying to keep it nice because its so trashed. The elevator always smells like garbage and has mysterious liquids on the ground. No one cleans up after their dogs, especially in the back. Our dogs have gotten giardia no joke, like 10+ times since moving here because there is an infestation in the soil. All this to say, please do not live here. We would not recommend this place to anyone. There are cheaper, nicer, safer apartments out there.

I am writing to share my disappointing experience with City Wide Apartments, particularly concerning the property management and overall living conditions. From the very beginning, there were significant issues. The property manager, Kyle Rhine, failed to conduct a proper first-day walkthrough with tenants, leaving new residents feeling neglected and uninformed. Despite claims of being busy, it was evident that Kyle spent more time socializing with co-workers than attending to his responsibilities. In my first week at City Wide Apartments, my car was towed due to a failure to save my car information in the system, leading to a mistaken identity. This incident caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Security concerns were further exacerbated when my bike was stolen within the premises. Despite the presence of security systems, the management was unable to provide footage for both my investigation and the police, raising questions about the effectiveness of their security measures. Moreover, the keycode system to access the apartment was unreliable. It frequently malfunctioned, leading to difficulties in both locking and unlocking the unit. Overall, my experience with City Wide Apartments was subpar, and I am relieved to have moved out. I sincerely hope that improvements are made to prevent others from facing similar challenges in the future.
