Brentwood Place Apartments

Rent too high and up keep on buildings aren't good enough

Great place to live and the staff working on site are top notch. John is the maintenance manager and he will be so quick and effective youll have a new standard of maintenance and repair that no other place will live up to. Theyre very accommodating and thats all besides the fact that the apartments have great updated windows, the construction is very well done. I recommend relocating to Brentwood Place as this was the 6th apartment complex that Ive lived at. I paid slightly less for a 2 bedroom here in Brentwood than a 1 bedroom in chesterfield. Cant be beat. The location is number 1. Safe neighborhood, good people living here.

Very affordable place and has been overall well-kept given that it's an older building. However, this does mean that it gets warmer than newer apartments. Was able to get around this by running a standalone AC unit in additon to the central air during the heat wave to get around 70F temperatures. No issues with roaches or pests throughout the year. Reasonably quiet throughout the day. Internet is AT&T fiber optic so it was great for my situation. Parking is free and there's always a place to park, just sometimes you'll park a bit further away from your unit. No issues with power as most of the rooms are on 15A circuits. Circuitbreaker is outside and user accessible. Overall great place if you're looking to stay in Brentwood for ~$1000/mo for a 2 bedroom 1 bath unit. Management has switched since I signed my lease. It was hard to get in touch with the leasing office previously during that time (it's essentially ran by 2 people), so maybe that will improve this time around but I am unsure. However, maintenance has been pretty good at maintaining the place and nobody has been switched out on that front.

Scheduled a tour for 5pm. Arrived a few minutes late drove 50 min to get there had no heads up of all of the road construction going on surrounding the complex that blocked the main drive so drove around half of Brentwood to find the entrance and then the leasing office was closed 45 minutes early. Calling the number takes you to an operator.

I have been staying here for about almost three years and I can say this. Its a ok place to stay, but if you do not make Over 15 hr and you are looking to live on your own best to look elsewhere unless you have a roommate or additional income. I had a income change which put me behind. So if you have hard times often and or have a dog your better off getting buy/lease/rent a house.
