I currently live here and have lived here for nearly 2 years at this time. This place has not overly impressed me and some of the listed amenities like guest laundry are not worth advertising in my opinion, but I guess they technically exist. That being said, it gets the job done and the terms are as reasonable as your going to get.I moved up here for a job and they had a place open when I was in a pinch at an affordable rate. Maintenance team here is great. People are a mix of friendly and/or quiet in my experience. I can't say I have had any negative experiences here that I could thoughtfully blame on Half Moon. Good, honest people.

The rent is cheap and its somewhere to live. The common areas in the buildings are dingy and my building can smell very unpleasant. There are roaches they just cant seem to get rid of with regular pest control that even enters inside your apartment. I saw a roach in my apartment on my second night after move-in and Ive been seeing them for months since. Seeing a roach in my clean dishwasher is what triggered me to write this, actually. (The dishwasher sucks too btw) During the warmer months you can see them crawling around the entrances to the buildings at night. Besides the roaches, some of the parking lots are full of potholes which is extremely annoying knowing Im putting extra wear on my car. The area is also not the best. Its really luck of the draw whether your neighbors will be respectful or not, I have had multiple packages stolen to the point I dont even get anything delivered to my apartment anymore and one time I dropped my wallet outside my building and it was stolen and all of my cards charged. Thanks neighbor I should also mention that their laundry facility they have advertised is not open. So either you have to go to the laundromat elsewhere or buy your own washer and dryer to leave in a common area of the basement where anyone could use them and honestly Id be worried about roaches infesting the machines too. Basically if its all you can afford is the only reason Id recommend this place and even then Id try to shop around, there are similarly priced apartments nearby. I will be moving as soon as I can afford it
