In comparison to the majority of Days Inn hotels they provide a superior product. However, they fell into some common service traps. The room was clean but not properly vaccummed. They completed a welcome call but it was too soon. I had only been in the room for 30 seconds giving me no time to settle in. They asked if the room was clean suggesting that it may not be. The good thing is these issues are easy to resolve.

We were in a 2 room suite. The AC unit in the sitting area didn't work. The sink in the bathroom leaked when used. The clerk attempted to move us, but it was to a smaller cheaper room and was only offering 10 percent refund. We didn't have enough wash cloths or towels upon arrival and housekeeping didn't come back until the following morning after 9. The room was dirty (kept finding Pringles in drawers and bags under the bed/tables) and we had to clean out the refrigerator.

Where to start? This place is filthy in the public areas. We stayed on the second floor. One of the windowsills had a mess where someone had spilled a coffee ...many days ago. It was crusted onto the sill and now part of the shabby-not-so-chic decor. We got into our room and noticed that the bed fram wasn't set up right. One side was longer than the other other and this made for a wonderful opportunity to stub your toe. Also the mattress didn't fit on the frame properly. The room was small and musty smelling. There weren't any pillow cases on the pillows. The TV didn't work. The 2nd floor hallway had a faint smell of urine. The guy at the front desk was nice. That is my positive. My husband chose this hotel because we made a last minute trip to KC for opening weekend of the baseball season. Next year we will do some proper planning and stay someplace where I don't have to worry about possibly taking bed bugs home to my cats. This is a Days Inn so we. expect more. We have learned our lesson

Charged full price for $100 a night for a room while the hotel is under construction with loud noise throughout. Hotel isnt pet friendly and yet a neighbor had a dog barking at night. Found leftover hair in the shower from someone elses wig, unacceptable quality for the price.
