    Just moved to Heather Ridge and so far so good! The office staff is amazing and they are so welcoming and kind. Maintenance is prompt, clean and efficient. They were so good with my pets. The area is clean and calm and very quiet! Everyone is great within the community and the apartments themselves are beautiful and so well kept and clean.

    Don't waste your money .. I lived here for quite a while and was pretty good the first few years .. the last few years have been a nightmare .. numerous water leaks in the wet wall which I was told was incoming clean water and not a problem (they had shower wall out to the point of not being able to use in one of the repairs) just dealt with another leak and talked with the Roto Rooter guy and was informed that its been the shower/sinks and even the toilet drain pipes, that means waste water has been leaking in the walls .. I'm having issues due to the incredible amount of mold and whatever else is in there .. City of Columbia was notified and no response at all as far as seeing if its safe, they said I should move (that's my tax dollars hard at work by the way) which is exactly what I'm doing .. the dog runs here are very messy because they don't enforce cleaning up after pets as much as they complain about the few cigarette butts scattered around the area, you cant open windows if down wind due to the smell .. I will give 1 star because the neighbors are very nice and the maintenance guys are awesome as far as trying to keep up but this complex is way to old and needs to be completely re-done .. seriously consider other living places before here .. signed, a once happy now very dissatisfied former tenant

    Rent increases each month, I started here 2 years ago with rent per month being a consistent 822. Without any notification other than a single letter explaining something about water fluctuations ( we moved here bc water was a flat rate they changed that and it now fluctuates) it has increased to nearly 1k per month. Many of my neighbors are making the same complaint.

    I was charged for $100 late fee for paying my rent 1 day late. And this is super high for me. I didn't NOTICE that since I have never been charged late fee in my previous experience. And there is no one-time exception. Except this, the apartment is smelly, noisy and dimmed.

Hi Gavin, I am sorry to hear you are upset regarding the water/sewer bill back system. The actual rent charge remains constant for the duration of the lease term, however, the total due per month will vary based on the actual water usage and the number of occupants residing in the apartments. This was explained in your renewal letter and another detailed letter sent when you received the first water/sewer bill back charge. A statement is emailed to you every month about 2 weeks before the 1st when rent is due that lists the breakdown of the charges with the balance you owe. If you or any other neighbors you spoke of have any questions regarding the variable bill back for water/sewer please contact our office, we would be happy to help clarify the information.

Hi Holly, I am sorry you are upset about the late fee, however, these are stated in your lease contract. If we make an exception for one resident, we would have to make an exception for all residents. We do offer payment solutions like auto-pay and our new payment option with Flex that allows you to have a more flexible payment schedule to avoid any future late fees. Regarding the dimmed apartment you mentioned, we did replace all your ceiling fan lights with brand-new bulbs and have completed all maintenance requests you have entered. If there is anything else we can help with, please contact the leasing office or place a work order and we would be happy to help get any issues taken care of.
