The service was subpar, and the staff were impolite. I was given the least desirable bed in the hotel that literally had box springs coming out of it, causing pain after a few short hours sleep. I asked for a room change, but the person at the night audit was very rude and insulting. Later, when I was finally relocated to another room, I found out that the staff member had moved someone else into the initial room I vacated without informing me properly. She was disrespectful when I mentioned I hadn't taken all my belongings during the late-night room change and I found out she snuck someone into the room afterwards, and I inferred it was NOT a paying guest but some male friend of hers. It made me wonder if the intention behind assigning me such a poor room was to expect a complaint, orchestrate a room change, and then use the now-vacant 'bad room' for their acquaintance under the cover of darkness while it awaited cleaning.
