Residence Inn by Marriott Flint Grand Blanc

The hotel is less than to be desired. The room was gross and very outdated. There were stains on the couch and chair and immediately made me feel unclean. The hallways stink of smoke. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and understanding once I told him I would not be staying there.

Walked in with a coworker. Immediately walked out after my co-worker was given keys to two different rooms that were not cleaned since the last occupant checked out. Elevator closest to front lobby out of service. Extremely tired building that smelled like a combination of mold and cigarette smoke. Only redeeming quality of my experience was the very nice manager on duty who I felt very bad for. You could tell this wasnt the first time she had to field similar complaints from unhappy guests shortly after check-in. This is hands-down the worst Marriott property Ive ever been on. I should have glanced at the reviews because its clear they have major issues. I have never walked out of a hotel reservation before but this property absolutely warranted my decision.

A one star is generous. Hotel is outdated, rooms were dirty. Only had two towels in the room with four people staying. Asked for more towels after checking in and was told they had none. Day two, my wife requested towels after lunch and dinner and was told they had none! I went down at 10:00 pm and still was told no towels. I responded by saying this was the fourth time we requested towels and were told the hotel didnt have extras! I went on to say that there was only 20 cars in the parking lot(that was generous), the hotel had 300 rooms, and to get some clean towels out of an empty room. I had clean towels within in 10 min. Needless to say will not be staying here again!!!!!!

Shannon was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable! Highly recommend you to go check out the hotel and meet Shannon at the front desk
