Rude, unprofessional and one of the worse customer services I've ever experienced from a corporate banking chain. Trying to take care of a simple family account issue, the clerk, 'Grant' and an unnamed manager type were unhelpful and gave instructions that weren't true when we called their corporate office to clarify. Do NOT deal with this pathetic clown car mess if you can help it.First Merchants Bank: incompetence taken to a new level.

Level one was good, but FMB has been nothing but trouble from day one. This was a downgrade, about to switch banks asap

I have banked with Ann Arbor State bank for a few years now, for business primarily. I loved A2SB but the transition to Level One is exactly what I feared. Loss of relationship, horrible transition including a completely nonfunctional website (chat help under maintenance, phone number not working, login not working etc). So far this is the typical small bank takeover and it is a real bummer.
