Hand Center of Western Ma: Dr Wint & Wintman HAND SURGEONS

Carpal tunnel surgery in both hands, might be a success.however I am left with pain in both hands a year later, along with trigger finger in both. Issues with billing out of the Surgicenter they use below them, along with their own billing issues for a wrist brace that was given the same day of 2nd surgery. They got creative and had me sign for the brace I was given the day of surgery, a week later at the follow up so it spilled over into the next year and insurance didnt cover it. Refused to work with me, just was told they had a signed piece of paper and that is when I was given the bracewhich sadly enough I wore to the follow up appointment and was told I no longer needed to wear! No worries, bill paidjust lost a patientor $$ because a doctor with a little more professionalism will be tending to my hand issues. A phone call to go over the timeline would of been nice, instead you brush it off because of the date on a piece of paper.

I had my hand looked at by Dr Wint in May of last year. I had a shot and it took care of the problem for several months and it returned. Rather than wasting time with another shot Dr Wint performed surgery. It was scheduled quickly and the problem was corrected. Very professional every thing was explained, no surprises great place.

I would give no stars if I could. This place is a the worst practice I have been to. I explained my situation over the phone, was asked to provided medical notes and jump through hoops to get an appointment which I did because Dr. Wint was highly recommended. Well, after moving up my appointment because my issues have worsened and I need help. THEY TURNED ME AWAY AND CANCELED MY APPOINTMENT! After filling out the paperwork for the appointment! Because they all of a sudden don't like something I wrote down on the medical questionnaire, which I sure as hell mentioned the very first phone call I had with the assistant or whomever she is and of course she denies. How nice of you to call someone a liar because you didn't pay attention to the phone conversation enough. Thank you soooo much for wasting my time and money. Can I send you a bill for $25, for canceling the appointment on me, at the time of the appointment? Should be for what will ultimately be 2hrs of overtime pay.

Dr. Wintman is the best. He is very caring and does a thorough job. He treated my trigger finger first with an injection and later when needed, with surgery. I would highly recommend him without reservation.
