I seen him years ago and he made me feel like I was only there for pain meds. I dont even like taking pain needs. Ive dealt with pain for years. Dr Linson was the best. He knew exactly what was going on with me and showed me. This doctor does not care about people in pain.

Dr. Robert Schapiro performed a microdiscectomy on my L5/S1 herniated disc on Tuesday May 21st 2019 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA. The surgery was very successful, and Dr. Schapiro was very kind and compassionate. Before my surgery I had horrible sciatic pain from my back, down the back of my left leg, all the way to my numb/tingling foot. I was in constant pain before my surgery and could not walk. I could not take steroid pills because I was very sensitive to them and could not tolerate them. However if I hadn't been so sensitive to them they would have taken away the sciatic pain completely. Dr. Schapiro was very professional at all times and answered all of my questions and concerns. The day of my surgery I met his assistant, a wonderful doctor in his own right. I was made to feel very comfortable and trusted their knowledge of this surgery %. When I woke up after the surgery my horrific pain was completely gone! I was treated with respect at all times and recommend Dr. Schapiro if you need a microdiscectomy procedure. I am so greatful to have had Dr. Robert Schapiro as my surgeon. Thank you again Dr. Schapiro!

I had a wonderful experience with him. He explained what he was going to do in a way we could understand. His assistant is great and very understanding. I would recommend him.
