        Brian and the bike shop crew are amazing. They always take care of me, but today was so exceptional I had to share. I brought my bike in with an issue that was caused by another shop, that I thought they should fix for free (because it was their fault!) but they wouldn't. I explained the issue to Brian and he fixed it on the spot, in about 5 minutes, and didn't charge me. As a female cyclist, I often feel the men at bike shops talk down to me (Wheelworks in Belmont is the WORST!), but I have never found this to be the case at Hingham REI. Thanks guys!

        We were at Rei to get a pair of snowboots for my son yesterday. Pat was extremely helpful and kind. I was a bit upset when I tried to pay for the boots. The cashier guy with no name tag forced me to get the membership which I dont really want. At the end when I asked for an email receipt, he said you WILL NOT get one because you are not enrolled in the membership rewards program. That is really weird to me. First time ever in my life experienced sth like this. No membership No email receipt. Hm... don't think we will come back for another pair though.
