I have had the privilege to work at CIC for three years as a project manager/estimator. My position has allowed me to conduct site visits in manufacturing facilities all over the New England area, problem solving and being a liaison to CICs new and returning customer base continuing to be served by our team for 30 years and counting. Each project has taught me something new and added to my knowledge base in my efforts to assist those in the community. Its been an honor working with and learning from the field crews as they turn these projects into reality with their years of experience and quality service. As CIC continues to move forward, younger new hires are being mentored by vested crew members who are passing down their legacy within the trades. It goes without saying that both the office staff and members of the field crews maintain a work culture that is supportive and shows dedication to their craft. Key abilities for filling this position would be having the ability to switch back and forth between tasks as they come up during an unpredictable workday, flexibility in jumping in where needed with office staff or site crews and being open to feedback in a collaborate office environment. It is also important to have the understanding that even if you think you have seen something before, every project is truly different and deserves attention to detail. When performing this role, you are the information filter for the crews performing the work; therefore, the information you can provide is key in their success and understanding of a project. CIC offers quality service provided by a highly dedicated team, whom I would highly recommend for both joining and for project consultation.
