        I'm a MyCitizen+ member and have stayed at several locations both in the US and EMEA. But this North Station location is where I've stayed the most (5 times) and primarily related to business travel. My main gripe is with the customer service of the team at the check in/out desk. Every time I've stayed there, I've asked for a receipt upon check out and have been told it will be emailed to me within 15 minutes. Yet each time no receipt is sent and I have to chase a receipt via their site's chatbot (no help) and finally a live chat agent who is able to provide one. Time is money. There are plenty of hotels I can stay at in Boston moving forward and this week's visit to the North Station location was my last.

        Location is great. Staff were fantastic. Lobby is beautiful. The rooms themselves leave little to be desired. Beds were okay, pillows were awful. Way too thick/high. Mood lighting was misleading, only lights up the bathroom which is kinda dumb IMO. No coffee machine in the room is kinda ridiculous, but the coffee downstairs is cheap and delicious. Rooms were small. I think itd be more manageable as a solo traveler, but the iPad controls are a miss when with your partner. No easy way to turn on bathroom lights without turning on the main lights it seemed? So good luck not waking your partner in the middle of the night. I really dont get it. Traditional hotel layout works way better imo.

      Good morning to you TH!We are so disappointed to hear that the majority of our hotel concept was not for you. We are by no means traditional and we understand whilst this is the reason most of our returning guests come back to see us, we are not for everyone. However we are so happy that you enjoyed the service of our amazing ambassadors and appreciated the aesthetics. You can indeed utilize different lighting in the room via the ipad (or the wall switches if you prefer) and our ambassadors are always here 24/7 to assist if needed! Whilst we don't believe in low coffee quality in our rooms, we find that the majority of our guests love our canteenM coffee, given we work with a UK based roastery with a great reputation and high quality product, sorry the beans didn't float your boat!As sad as we are that we weren't for you, we hope you find the traditional comforts you crave and trust you had a fantastic time in Boston..Safe travels,Lucy LattaHotel Manager
