Hyatt Regency Boston

Sadly the pool and also sauna is out of order. Great gym and friendly hotel stuff. Modern and huge rooms.

Pros: - Great location - Comfy bed - Nice front desk staff - Amazing view from our room - Nice fitness center Cons: - Bathroom door does not latch shut. Sliding door that is open a good inch even when "closed." This provided zero privacy. It is fine if you're staying solo, but with a guest, that made the stay very uncomfortable. For this issue alone, I wouldn't stay here again because it's such a big issue for me. - Restaurant service was not good, food was the worst we had in Boston (and the most expensive). - AC doesn't work. We were told that the hotel can only run heat or AC at a single time (the whole building has to be on the same setting). If I knew AC wasn't functioning, I would have booked elsewhere. That's a deal breaker for me. - Non-existant water pressure in the shower that doesn't go beyond lukewarm. - You can't take stairs up from the lobby.

Wonderful Week here at Hyatt Regency Boston! Touring the colleges again in Boston for our second daughter. Love the location in Downtown Boston. Service was excellent with fast check in. Rooms were clean and had a great view on the 21st floor! Very friendly staff. Restaurant was excellent also for dinner. Have to say equal to Legal Seafood next door. Quick walk to plenty of breakfast and lunch places within 3 blocks. Chinatown is just down the street. Easy pickup by ride sharing in front of hotel. Downtown Crossing station is 1/2 block away Chancy street entrance Orange Line.
