A little over two years ago, Dr. Zingman and PRISM saved my life. My initial evaluation with her and subsequent appointments with the rehab team validated my fears and brought me hope for the first time in years. Dr. Shah, Dr. Wright, Cassie, Amanda, Ann, and Ashley have all been instrumental in my care, learning, and continual rehabilitation. I wish this excellent care was more affordable, but it is such a godsend that PRISM staff submit to insurance for potential refunds on behalf of patients. Though I believe access to quality healthcare should be a right and not a privilege, I continue to feel SO grateful and lucky to be able to receive care at this life changing practice.

Thank you so much, Taylor. It truly is a privilege on our end as well, and we agree regarding access to care. PRISM just launched our first low cost, free to Medicaid patients program this week. We have several more in the pipeline that we will post soon to www.prismspineand joint.com/programs. In addition, Dr. Zingman co-founded EDSRF which in 2023 awarded 350k of grants for research aimed towards improving understanding and care coverage for patients living with these conditions. The research study focused on the type of care we provide at PRISM, has been designed as a collaborative effort between Dr. Z and a large academic medical center, and our Physiolign(TM) program will go into that center this year where it will be studied and probably even improved upon. The goal is and has always been to get the services offered at PRISM covered by insurance and widely available for persons living with EDS. Dr. Z was diagnosed in 2017, opened PRISM in 2019, co-founded EDSRF in 2020. Since then, she created training programs and a manual (both about 75% complete) while teaching new staff how to help this population. Now, PRISM can almost accommodate the demand for our services and the training programs are almost ready for the program to be "installed" in hospital systems where high quality research can create a new landscape regarding access to care. PRISM itself is just the beginning :). So grateful to have you and all of our patients, their loved ones, colleagues, and friends along this journey.

I saw Dr. Wright for a virtual information session to ask questions about a specific orthopedic issue caused by EDS. Dr. Wright was a great listener and had clearly read my file and prepared ahead of time. Her insights were extremely helpful and she was very compassionate. She picked up on things that countless other doctors have missed.
