    A few caveats here: 1. They make you pay up to 20% service fees (payment by cash, by credit card or debit cars)when move in. Unlike most other properties, the company REFUSES to take ANY physical checks. 2. They welcome you to move in with checking the conditions of the apartment. Then you WILL wait for weeks to get everything fixed. However, they make you fill in move-in inspections on an APP. 3. The building manager and agents WILL stop answering your emails once you move in, as many other reviews have stated. 4. The building WILL increase the monthly rent, regardless how long (over one year) your original lease is. 5. One should ask to view the lease (unnamed) before paying an application fee. If they refuse, it'd be illegal.

    I love living here. My view as great as it looks out on the water and I love the sound of the waves as it reminds me of the ocean. Anthony is awesome. I love it here

    The Bennington looks great on paper, but after moving in I realized I made a mistake. The leasing agents are friendly until you move in, then they ghost you. Maintenance takes forever and only does the bare minimum. There is only one person on staff that is friendly and everyone else seems miserable to be here.The workers also don't seem to communicate amongst each other about certain policies. The units dont look like they have been updated in 20 years. There are cracks everywhere in the walls, stains on the carpet (stains I used regular stain remover to get out so apparently they didn't even try to get it out before I moved in), old appliances, and the carpet is just gross looking. Oh and dont forget about the trains. No one mentioned to me that I would have to listen to loud trains 24/7. Its quieter with windows and doors shut, but who wants to be shut in 24/7 (just something to keep in mind - try to get a unit away from the tracks if possible). We will definitely be looking elsewhere at the end of the lease. I've never felt so unwelcomed in my own "home".
