The Flats at Columbia Pike

DO NOT MOVE HERE - I have lived here for about two years and it has been an ongoing battle with management and maintenance. I have had mold MULTIPLE times (which I still do) and all they do is paint over it. My washer and dryer doesn't work even though management says they fixed it, my tub has been clogged for months and the continue to come back and say they fixed it but it is NEVER fixed. On top of that it takes multiple weeks for them to come to fix anything. Crime is a huge issue around here and nothing is being done about it. Roaches are an issue as well. I recommend not moving here ever.

My husband and I had a walk-in tour last week with Crystal. Let me tell you something that Lady knows her stuff! She has been on my mind since so i had to leave a review. She provided us with all the information we needed and then some. After our amazing tour I was ready to apply but I couldnt get past the prices of the apartments after doing my research for the area.Its actually ridiculous BUT if you can look past that Crystal is the one to help assist you. She is very patient and knowledgeable when it comes to silly questions. She isnt like the other leasing agents pushy factual and boring. That young ladys smile will put a smile on your face too.

Do not rent here! We lived at this apartment for one year and couldnt have been happier to have left. Now that weve left weve yet to hear a word from them about our security deposit either! The whole apartment complex always had cockroaches and pests in it, when pest control would come they would spray one tiny area and leave - only for the problem to come back a week later. Everything in our unit was either haphazardly fixed or painted over. Maintenance would mark our requests as complete and never fix anything. Our ice machine never worked a single day we lived there, our water heater ran out of hot water after 5 minutes in the shower, and more. Our heater went out on the coldest day of the winter and they only left us a small portable heater that broke after 10 minutes of use for the few days it took them to replace it. When they did come they would often enter the unit unannounced and leave without fixing the problem. It was routine for large groups of police to constantly come by the apartment complex, but to be honest we never personally had any issues with crime. Now that weve moved out we have yet to hear a word from them. Our ActiveBuilding account was shut down so we cant see a reply to the message we left them and no one at the office has responded to emails or phone calls. But hey the community here was great - our neighbors were kind and the White Oak Community Center across the street is a great perk. Otherwise this would be a 0 star review.
