image Kristina is a SUPER STAR. I was definitely not the easiest applicant to deal with due to changing time constraints on my end and Kristina worked diligently and was always so helpful through the entire process. 11/10 recommend.

image Incredibly rude staff. The "legacy" apartments are a joke. Came with cabinets ready to fall off the hinges, mold in all the vents, back sliding door doesn't slide easy, bathtub grips were peeling off. The apartment is an overall mess.
Update as of 2024: just know man, woman, or child they do not care. Maintenance will enter your apartment without any heads up or without announcing who they are. If you move here and have kids make sure to teach them to latch the door whenever it's just them. I've talked to other residents where maintenance has walked in on them nude or in the shower where they didn't even knock before entering. They will also use your apartment items such as taking left out water bottles and will leave mud on rugs and carpets.

image The process of applying and being approved seemed daunting at first to my family and I. My husband hadn't rented an apartment since the 70s and we would have been overwhelmed had it not been for the kindness, knowledge and patient guidance of leasing consultant Robert and all of the office staff. Each time we had a question throughout the application process Robert was very quick to respond. Evan and Kylie were super helpful too. Everyone answers the phone in the most pleasant manner as they patiently assisted us with all our questions, reassuring us along the way and helping us get it right. Robert has a very welcoming manner, kind, polite and is very professional in every way. Everyone seems very proud of this beautiful setting and they're quick to highlight all its charms. We love the surroundings and the community and will surely enjoy moving here as well. A brilliant mix of old world Frederick historical charm with modern amenities, and a professional and knowledgeable staff. Robert made our experience applying stress free and simple. We greatly appreciate his diligence and also appreciate all the staff as well. Thank you very much.
UPDATE: in the seven months weve lived here Im back to update my review and it wont be pleasant. Let me start with their parking policy and towing. The day we moved in we were very busy with our movers and thats when they decided to come over and explain the guest parking pass to us but we were otherwise preoccupied and not paying attention because we were trying to move in. Dont let them do this to you. You tell them to come back when you can pay full attention to what theyre telling you about parking because it can cost you. We wound up being towed because we were unaware that the parking passes expired. Other complexes give their tenants guest parking passes that do not expire. That is not the case here and they also tow handicap vehicles. That is going to stop soon because I am working with the city on this issue. And they wont be able to use the lame excuse that its private property.
Also, their resident portal is lackluster and will deduct two rents in one month from your bank account. We changed banks, and the first month they took a payment from our new bank and they also tried to get one from our former bank. We didnt have any money in the former bank account so then they tried to charge us an NSF fee even though we had paid the rent with what they took from our new bank. This month they deducted two rent payments again, from our new bank account. Evan does not know how to fix this and when I asked him why the corporate phone number doesnt work, he could not answer my question. Thats scary that corporate cant be reached and causes me to assume that they must get a lot of complaints and corporate doesnt want to hear it, so they make sure that you cant call them in Rockville.
I wasnt going to say anything about the shoddy renovation job done on our apartment before we moved in in November, but in light of all these problems, and the way this place makes it difficult especially for people with disabilities to live here, Im just going to say it like it is. When we moved in 2 guys appeared suddenly on the patio and started spraying white paint on the railings, and in the process sprayed white paint all over the patio doors. And, we had no screen in the patio doors. We had loose faucets and drains. The cabinets were dirty and they left the labels on them when they installed them. In the bathrooms the cabinets were not caulked or sealed into place, it look like they just threw the cabinets in and took off. There use cheap flat paint that looks like it was applied by a five year old. This is what theyre charging a premium rent for and I can assure you that the Apartments at Linganore are much better and more spacious and only three years old, not ancient like this place. And the rent isnt much more over there. Faller Management is terrible. There are much nicer places. Trust me, do not settle for this place. Were leaving as soon as our one-year is up.

We will also increase the frequency that these reminders are sent out. We're sorry to hear that the renovation that was completed prior to your move-in date was not to your satisfaction. We certainly try to work with our contractors to give the best product that we can. Of course, if there is anything in your apartment that needs to be addressed, our qualified maintenance staff will be happy to address any of these issues. Finally, if you continue to run into any issues with your payments system, we would be happy to re-address this for you. Setting up and/or changing online payments is a multi-step process but we will certainly be of assistance to address any issue that you may have.Thank you for your time and consideration.
