Harrah's New Orleans

We think this hotel is great. Service and staff of very friendly. The only problem that we don't understand is how do you have such a nice hotel in the south, but you have no pool for your guests. Especially being a casino hotel. We came here for vacation for our anniversary and we really hope we would have a day or to relaxing in the pool but that's not able to happen. Pools are almost expected to be at casino hotels and luxury hotels. The other issue is no microwave. We have left ones from eating out and no way to heat it up.

Almost $5 for a small "sprite/aka Sierra mist" that was packed to the rim with ice is so ridiculous its unreal esp when the bartender knew I was playing as I had been right in front playing for a good 30 minutes. I would understand if he were busy and I would understand if I asked for alcohol or if I hadn't been right in front playing the Buffalo game & then to load it down with ice to where I got literally three sips and it was gone for almost $5 & he didn't even ring it in, he said the price with an almost unsure himself of the price. I wanted to say something but there was an older man who was clearly drunk sitting at the bar mouthing off why would I come to the bar for a soda pop why don't I just go the the vending machine... like there's a vending machine for soda on the casino floor some place that I apparently do not know about.
