SpringHill Suites by Marriott Louisville Hurstbourne/North

For the level of hotel, the rooms were super clean, pool was cloudy and not something i would get in but it may have been a fluke, for we were only there one night. Great staff. Nearby activities: Free breakfast. Average, & area kept clean. Near everything but up a more semi private road. Front clean and cigarette butt free sidewalks and front door area. 24 hour coffee/tea area in lobby as well as coffee service in suites. Well insulated rooms, low noise. Safety: Room key entrance 24 hours other than front entrance. Food & drinks: Average breakfast (free) and that's coming from a road warrior for a living so I have been surprised by some above average hotel free breakfast'. Area kept clean, friendly service folks.

The only Marriott property Ive ever had a bad experience at. Normally they are so accommodating and helpful, bending over backwards to please you. This property overbooked the hotel and when we arrived at 11:30 pm we had to relocate to another location 20 minutes away. We were separated from the rest of our party. In return I asked to be refunded $150 for a room we cancelled and they refused. Clearly the hotel still sold out every room.

We Stayed here when we came to Louisville for a concert. It was clean and inviting. Rooms larger than average hotel rooms. Price was affordable. Location was nice.
