They were abysmal when I was renting from them at their Lakeshore Drive location from 2019-2020. It was like pulling teeth to get them to conduct maintenance; I probably waited two weeks to get my air conditioning fixed after giving emails and phone calls. I eventually had to drive all the way to their office to complain about it before they did something. Neighbors were constantly fighting and smoking various drugs, asking me for spare cash, and making noise. I also heard the basement was flooded, but I never actually went down there out of wanting to avoid that if it was true and did my laundry at Chevy Chase laundromat as a result.

Rented from them once. Singled handly our worst experience ever. Broke the lease. I've written reviews about this before, but the company keeps changing just enough to make old reviews hard to find.

My experience with Riesig group was so smooth from the start. Me and my wife were looking for an apartment, and they helped me find a nice apartment they just remodeled. Every time we have had any problems, they have fixed the problem really quick.

I signed with Riesig last year and I have regretted it ever since. They make sure everything you will see on your showing is nice and taken care of, but once youre locked into a lease it quickly becomes clear how screwed up it is. The apartment I moved into had no AC, gas leaks in every single gas appliance, a kitchen faucet that didnt work, a broken water heater that had to be completely replaced, and on top of all that they lied about there being free wifi (*technically* there is wifi but the signal is so weak I literally cant even connect to it). The people Ive spoken to have been fairly nice and responsive, but every single one of these issues should have been taken care of before anyone moved in. Once winter arrived, it got even worse. The heater was completely broken, and it took them 3 weeks and a lot of phone calls to fix (should have only taken one!). When it started snowing, they didnt bother to plow the driveway, and since the driveway is on a hill that made it impossible to get back in and we had to park on the street. Dont rent from them under any circumstances. They and their parent/sister companies go by many names (I believe Kingston is the parent, thats who we've dealt with since signing), dont sign with any of them. I cannot imagine a worse company to rent from. I have no idea how they manage to have such good reviews on google.
