Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Elizabethtown

Pricing is close to $200 and its not worth that at all. Not very clean, parking lot isnt well lit and doesnt look like the pictures at all.

I travel a lot for work, and this was an atypically bad experience. I never rate hotel stays, because they are all generally fine. Not here. In two days, I never saw anyone actually at the front desk. You have to ring a bell to get their attention, and even then, it can take a minute or two for them to come out. No acknowledgment of Marriott status. I know for a fact that this hotel has better rooms than I got, and it was not full at all. I am not at all a germophobe, and I dont have the highest cleanliness standards, but the tub/shower was gross, with obvious stains on the bottom. And all of this is before I noticed the MASSIVE urine stain on the wall next to the toilet. Pros: the TV seemed newish, and the lady working the late desk accommodated my request for a firmer pillow. The location is fine, I guess. That being said, if youre a Marriott member, go to SpringHill suites next door. I balked because they were unusually expensive for this trip (Ive traveled out here numerous times), and I really regret my choice. This place is dated and plagued by general neglect.
