This is difficult to write as I have never experienced this poor of a response to a customer concern. Our installer picked up Shaw carpet 3 weeks ago. Contractor tore out carpet in 2 rooms, a hallway, and stairs. Rolled out the new carpet to install and it has manufacturing defects. The contractor notified Clay-Mar immediately and sent pictures. A week goes by of us walking on padding and stubbing our toes on furniture crammed into two rooms from the other two. Nothing. Contractor contacts Shaw, the manufacturer. They sent an inspector out immediately. Finally think we are getting somewhere. Another week goes by, no word from ClayMar, but Shaw says they will ship out more carpet to Clay-Mar for our project. We shipped back defective carpet. Now on the third week and still no carpet, still feel as if Im loosing my mind with my house all torn up in shambles. ClayMar has their money, Shaw has their money, this customer is living indefinitely with the consequences of their poor customer service. Hopefully this review will save someone else from using either ClayMar for their flooring or Shaw carpet. The contractor came back to at least put my old carpet back down so we dont ruin the padding walking around on it.
