This hotel is decent for the price, hotel rooms were clean even though the hotel is aged and has not been remodeled. Decent for the stay.

Conveniently located. The service was pretty good, I did not have a lot of issues here. The folks were nice and ready to serve.
My main issue was the comfort of the beds and that something in the rooms caused a flare in my allergies. I don't have severe allergies, nothing that can't be remedied by OTC allergy meds. But something in the room caused me issues.

My Granddaughter is 10..We have celebrated it here every year since she was born. So much so she requests it. Well today I had to tell her we would likely not come again. 300 dollar rooms are not what we do for one night in places where staff is uninformed and causes you undue stress due to misinformation. There was an hour + wait to get in room which screwed our schedule and by the time we came down for snackes at 5:50 it was packed. All the food was gone and I was told they don't restock on weekends...Now back up 3 flights of stairs with babies, toddler & kids we go. or else wait in a 20minute elevator ride cause one was down...I haven't been here for an hour and I would leave if id be guaranteed my money back. I live here(KC). I could sleep where I pay rent if I'd known the amitities were not gonna be unavailable . Airbnb could have gotten us a whilye house if it was just about sleeping away from home.
Update.. Management had settled things by check-out.a refunded initiated . Still not very happy with experience. But Will stay again in hopes this was just a very bad day
