Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Metcalf

I had to give a credit card for incidentals even though that is already documented on line with my reservations service. They charge 5 dollars to cover all incidentals and then Hyatt wanted 15 more dollars to cover incidentals. My company card account could not be cleared for a week until the hotel gave the charge back.

So they were doing construction, no big deal. But their bar was like drinking at a friends house, except they charge you for beer. The ice machine was broken on my floor, but at least there was one on the 6th and 4th floor. Nearby activities: Hooters and walmart nearby

We spent the night here with our family in their suite. We were here visiting for the super bowl parade. This place is really nice. They did have construction going on so that kind of sucked but other than that everything was nice. Our room was very spacious. It had two double beds and a pulled out couch which was great for the five of us. The breakfast they served was wonderful. You had hot eggs, hash browns bagels toast sausages etc etc. Everything you need for a good breakfast. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come here again next time!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable especially the bed and pillows. I would definitely stay again. Downside was it is currently under construction. Food & drinks: Nice hot breakfast with many options, including fresh fruits.

The hotel is under construction. Very inconvenient!! It did not look like the pictures and was not up to date. Very disappointed i feel like I could have spend my money on a nicer hotel.
