U-Haul Moving & Storage of Olathe

This is a really good U-Haul location. They always seem to have plenty of trucks and supplies. My move got bumped up a couple days, they were able to facilitate that change easily for me. I had an issue come up while out with the truck. They emailed me and made sure it was taken care of and apologized for any inconvenience. I'd recommend them for moving, I've already used them for two moves.

The trucks suspension was not in great condition. The drivers door was messed up and was being impeded by damage to the front quarter panel. It made a horrible noise every time it was opened. It often looked like it wasnt closed all the way. Olathe Moving and Storage is a good place to rent the trucks. They are helpful and I have never had a problem.

Absolutely terrible!!! Made reservation and paid online then forced to download the uhaul app to be able to pick up truck early Sunday morning, app forced me back through everything I had already done and double/overcharged me, never gave me a word code for the lock on the truck which happened to be blocked in by no less than 8 other trucks! Took me 50 minutes in the parking lot freezing and pissed off to get the truck. No answer from uhaul customer service number at all, employee showed up finally and crashed into a few trucks getting mine unburied. Truck was a pos and had no power, was dirty, damaged, and had bad wiper blades. It took about 5-6 days to be partially refunded back down to the original amount I paid when making the reservation online the first time. Customer service doesnt answer, app is terrible, truck is junk, and they should stage reserved trucks on the other side of the parking lot so they dont get blocked in by overnight drop offs which obviously they know exactly what will happen each and every time. Terrible experience I will not be repeating, will find another company to do business with. The end.

The first U-Haul they gave us had a radiator light on and then when we returned it, they gave us another U-Haul, and this one had a wheel light on the general manager at this location was very rude from the very beginning. Also the second U-Haul that we ended up just taking had a bald front right tire, the alignment was terrible. It veered to the right, and shook so bad you couldnt even see out of the mirrors. It was dirty with cigarette ashes and dog hair. The lock on the back did not work just seem like they overall did not care and did not maintain their equipment.
