        Double charged for room and the refund process can take up to TWO WEEKS. Multiple phone calls made between Bank and hotel. Not worth the hassle in my opinion

        Would definitely stay here again! Charming history with beautiful modern flair, excellent customer service, clean throughout, comfortable beds, centrally located so you can walk and explore Des Moines. The rooms were not as quiet as I generally like but with a little white noise, I slept just fine.

        The location was close to just about everything. Which was great if you are visiting for the first time. The service was helpful and gave insight on things to do around the city. The sheets and mattress were wonderful; I almost did not want to get out of bed the next morning.
