Community Savings Bank

The branch on Mt. Vernon road has always been very helpful. I have moved almost all of my banking to them. They are friendly, organized, and actually seem happy that you stopped in when I come by.

Absolutely horrible experience at the Mount Vernon road location I receive gold 1 dollar coins from the vending machines in my employee lounge at work after a few months of collecting them I take them to a bank to cash in for paper money when I walk in and placed a handful on the counter the lady proceeded to take 5 minutes to count them only then to ask me if I was a member when I said no she turned me down but not before belittling me and making me feel like a criminal the other gentleman on duty I won't name names you know who you are he stopped what he was doing froze and continued to stare at me up and down with his jaw dropped as if I had just stolen these coins from my grandparents or was some sort of criminal I went over to the US bank across the street at which I was also not a member and they took care of me in a quick professional manner.

EXEMPLARY service here! I had to handle a transaction after making a deposit to a members account. Mind you I'm not a member, however, I was treated like one! The staff member went above and beyond to handle what I was afraid to even ask for due to the fact that the two other local banks I asked turned me down because I wasn't a member. My bank is back in Virginia but I'm definitely now interested in becoming a member here as well!
