BMO Bank N.A Branches

This place was the epitome of dont bother us with business. When my father passed, he had accounts here and it took 3 trips to get the funds. Worst part was that he had an IRA that they wouldnt convert because it was too low in value. They would only convert it at .01% interest rate (over $5k CD rates were over 4.0%). So I was forced to withdraw funds and take a 10% tax hit. Insult noted and now Im never gonna bank with BMO again.

Walked to this branch to open a new account. There were 2 bankers with no customers but they made me wait and wait until I just left. This was the first and last time I'll step foot inside that bank. It's too bad because I live so close.

Do not do your banking here. I tried to call ALL DAY to book an appt with a banker. ONCE I finally got a live person she forwarded me to someone who I left a vmail with. I never heard from him ALL DAY. I am now trying to call again and AGAIN nobody is answering the phone. Go somewhere else. I'd rather put my money under my mattress than deal with this branch. Also, their app stinks.

My son needed to get his first checking account. We attempted to walk in to several other local banks and refused due to lack of employees. We decided to try BMO palatine. We didnt schedule an appointment on a Saturday and walked in 8 minutes before they closed. Vidhya was so kind, willing to help my son and took her time helping him out and explaining how to use his mew accounts. We opened a checking and savings for him with her help. I am incredibly grateful for the time she took with us especially 8 minutes before closing on a Saturday. Thank you for caring and helping us, Vidhya! Youre an Angel.

Do not do any business with bmo harris bank, They have a trick to charge people for insufficient fund, when there's enough money on the account, The free checking account it is just to attract people so they can fall into bank's fees,
