Business account supposed to be closed. Wasn't. Learned weeks later when I got a penalty for minimum balance violation. The balance violation which PNC caused by not fully closing the account. Another branch forgave the penalty and closed it for good.
Also, could not understand a very simple trust and POA sutuation. Took me 2+ weeks to learn they could not help.
Usually meeting in person gets things sorted better than phone or online interaction. Not so much here.
Matters taken to other bank and situation resolved in a single afternoon.
Edit: Turns out they couldn't even forgive the fee. I paid the $10, and I will now cut my relationship with PNC.

Went to do a cashiers check and filled out the withdrawal slip but as I didnt have the second form of ID the transaction couldnt be done. When I asked for the slip I filled out and signed this Ms. Lisa was refusing to give it back. I couldnt leave my signed paper in the bank if the transaction didnt take place. Its dangerous to keep ignorant & rude employees in the branch. I have always had great experience in Glen Ellyn and Tinley branch. Corporate should look into this Lombard employee. May need some inservice/ training.

What a joke. This isnt a bank anymore as there are no tellers but nowhere in the description does it say that when you search for a PNC bank. You cannot withdraw your money or make a cash payment to your credit card. Second location I went to today! They try to save their money and can care less about customers. Ive had my account with them for 20 years and will be closing it ASAP. Extremely disappointed and no one was willing or meet me half way with what I needed to get done. Just told me to go to another location.

The 1 star is for the manager and lady at the front door great friendly service. Who ever the other guy is doesn't understand customer service and should not be in that role. I asked to speak to a manager and his response was my manager won't do nothing for you either.. didn't even let me finish talking before interrupting and trying to brush me away as if PNC ownership would appreciate his work lol I hope he gets re trained at minimum.
