    This review is primarily for the service department. They don't respond or followup on your issues even after months. Such a shady dealer who isn't bothered with the customer. They damaged my vehicle's dashboard during a recall and blame Honda. My humble advice is to avoid this place for any kind of service. I haven't heard back from the dealer and I assume they do not want to resolve my issue. Anyone planning to buy/service your car from Libertyville Honda,please be aware and go find another one who can serve your needs.

    I stopped by the dealership with less than an hour before closing time. My 2024 CR-V hit road debris on the way home that punctured the tire badly. I took a chance that I could drop the car off. The service advisor said sure pull the car in with maybe 20 minutes to close. I really was treated with kindness and felt reassured that I stopped at Honda. I told them to fix it when you can, I know other appointments are ahead of me. However, early the next morning, I received a call. They inspected the car already and gave me a very fair estimate to replace the tire. The 5 Star review is just for Excellent Customer Service and Follow thru. Great Service Department! Thank You!

    I had the worst experience ... my advice is to avoid them and look for more professional honda dealer. I went to check a pre-owned honda vehicle they had and decided to move forward with the purchase to find out that they want to force what they called " exterior and interior ceramic coating and to fool you into 2 years warranty" for $1,900. I sopke to the sales manager and told him that this should be optional and I can't be forced into taking it. His response was that it is on all the vehicle at their dealership and the coating has been pre-applied. And that was a deal breaker for me. I didn't expect a cheap ways of tricking people to get money from such a dealer.

    Do NOT buy a used car from Libertyville Honda. They dont care about their customers after you drive off the lot! Numerous issues with vehicle since driving off the lot. Lets not forget the awful buying experience- applying a protectant to exterior which not only looks awful- but during buying process tell you its included in price- only to have it added on to price just prior to signing documents. Several attempts to notify dealership of experience and vehicle issues have gone unanswered. As soon as you sign your documents- they are done with you. Go somewhere else- youll be MUCH happier!. Edited 1/23/24: still no contact from dealership- though its not a surprise! They really could care less about you once you drive off the lot. Do yourself a favor and GO ANYWHERE ELSE to purchase a vehicle. Edited: 4/3/2024 still no response despite numerous attempts to contact. However, they continue to have sales reps who are not located at Libertyville reach out to see about trading in my vehicle! LOL When I explain the situation; they direct me to Honda Libertyville and I leave messages on the sales managers voicemail that do not get returned. DO BETTER HONDA LIBERTYVILLE- DO BETTER for your customers!
