Went in to this store for the second time (its the closest store to me) and had a bad experience. The first time they took a long time to help me and seemed to have very little actual knowledge about the new modems and some of the devices T-Mobile provides. My most recent trip on 6-15-23 took a much different turn. I stopped in to drop off my modem after setting up exchange with Customer Care. I asked one of the three salespeople sitting around looking at their phones about getting a new phone case, since the one that they originally recommended to me was cracking and yellow. I had always used Otterboxs prior to this but the sales person assured me the Pivot was better. (Spoiler alert: it was not.) Brian asked me for my phone number and pin to see if they had any special deals on accessories and offered me a free screen protector, which I dont need. I said thank you but Im good and would consider a new phone case at a later time and then left. About two hours after I left I started getting text messages about added lines and new phone numbers. It seemed strange but I assumed that it was a promotion. However after looking at my T-Mobile acct I saw that Brian had added two lines to my acct WITHOUT my knowledge, approval or consent. I immediately called customer care to find out what was going on and was told Brian had signed me up for these two lines at $10 a month each. I had them cancelled and asked for customer care to contact the store about this issue. However, the store is a third party retailer with a disconnected phone number. VERY CONCERNING. Our neighborhood is very diverse and I am concerned that behavior like this might affect any one who does not use English as their first language and they could be getting defrauded or charged for things that they did not agree to. I myself am a single dad on disability and $20 a month is a lot for me. I have been a loyal T-Mobile customer for 18yrs and have previously enjoyed and expected excellent customer service. This location is sadly a blight on the good name of T-Mobile. I do not recommend the store at all. Obviously.
