Avis Car Rental

I rented a Tesla and it didnt come with the right adapters so I spent the morning looking to charge and then when I couldnt charge it I got to spend 2.5 hours on hold with Avis. Overall a terrible experience with their EV cars. I was never was able to talk to anyone that could help me and I ended up having to Uber and change flights. On top of that Im getting charged for not returning the car to the same location!! A very frustrating experience for a seasoned business traveler!

If you have other car rental options, take them. Avis consistently charges you to top off the gas tank at return, even though you just filled it a gas station just blocks away. This happens every rental and every location. This is a systematic corporate attempt to gouge more money from their customers, most of whom don't check their receipt that closely or contest it. Also the features they offer in their app typically don't work, at least at O'Hare.

Great experience out of Ohare. Quick out and fast drop to check in. Nice toyota snd it was clean! We will use them again!

Easy and convenient location. Never have any problems. The express exit has always been broke.
