    I moved to this apartment back in April. Was just taking some online classes. The apartment flooded underneath the stairs about 4 inches of water and reached out the management for assistance. I was told they were going to come clean it up but by the end of the day no one had showed up and ended up doing it myself. Before the month ended a tenant had been approved for May 1st but it was a couple days before his lease date, he decided to throw a party from 10 til 4 in the morning. They left beer bottle all over the place, condoms and sticky stuff in the carpet. Idk when the last carpet cleaning was before that but it looked horrible. Being a maintenance supervisor myself, I was pretty upset. Not only was I the one who was charged for the carpet cleaning but most things in that apartment I had to do myself. The kitchen sink they bought and left it on our table. Toilet was disgusting, and there was messes everywhere when I moved in. I was also the only tenant that didnt have carpet in the bedroom. I was the best tenant that apartment has ever had. They at one point had an internet line hanging down and I had sparklight come and put it up. Worst of all, the water heater was never fixed. The button kept popping out. When it does that it means the water heater got way too hot and it tripped as a safety feature. I would come home from work and have no hot water. Day after day and eventually they left a sign saying dont touch the thermostats. When none of us had been touching them. To sum it all up, its a great place to live for the price. But management sucks for the number of people in their office. Just a bunch of monkeys. They should have charged the tenant that got evicted for the carpet cleaning. Not me! I wish I kept some of the other photos. Also my room #2 downstairs floods during the spring.

    As far as management I've had in Rexburg, this is one of the best experiences I've had. The property I moved into was not super clean, but other than that they've been easy to communicate with.

We are sorry you are not happy. Unfortunately, you are incorrect in much of what you have said. The "party" was addressed immediately the next day once we found out about it AND we cancelled that tenants lease AND did not allow him to move into the unit so that everyone would feel comfortable living there. The carpet cleaning fee you are so upset about is in the lease you signed AND has absolutely nothing to do with what you are referring to. I'm sorry if you didn't read your lease thoroughly but you seem to think you are being charged for something related to the party you described which is not the case. I'm sorry but it is completely unfair to call us monkeys and be upset about something stated very clearly in your lease. Not to mention to then try and make it sound like we did nothing after the fact when we did EVERYTHING possible to make you and the other occupants in the apartment feel safe. The home you moved into is rented by the room and while we make sure the room is clean for new tenants we do not require the shared spaces to be cleaned. You were only charged for the two things clearly listed in your lease and the rest of the deposit was returned to you.
