I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the service I recently received from an employee at one of your stores, specifically the Albertsons located at 10500 W Overland Rd, Boise, ID,. The incident occurred on 1/24/24 during my visit to the butcher block. On the aforementioned date, I approached the butcher block and requested assistance from an employee, later identified as Moleek. Instead of promptly assisting me, Mr. Moleek chose to sit on his cell phone for an extended period, approximately 2 to 3 minutes, without acknowledging my presence or attending to my request. After questioning his delay, he reluctantly put on his gloves and provided the assistance I had initially requested. In addition to his unprofessional conduct, Mr. Moleek provided a false name, "mojo," which misled me in my attempts to address the issue with the appropriate personnel. Later, I discovered his real name to be Moleek, though I am uncertain about the correct spelling. This incident raises serious concerns about Mr. Moleek's behavior and its potential impact on customer service at Albertsons. It is disconcerting to think about how many customers may have been turned away due to his refusal to assist them promptly. I reported the incident to the store manager, and I also contacted the corporate line. While corporate assured me that customer service training would be recommended, I am troubled by the fact that this may not be an isolated incident. Regrettably, my concerns were further heightened during a separate incident on 1/26/24. As I walked by the butcher block, Mr. Moleek noticed me and approached me outside the butcher block, saying, "Yo, what's up, man." This behavior seemed intended to provoke a situation or intimidate me, which is completely unacceptable. It is my sincere belief that Mr. Moleek's behavior poses a significant liability to Albertsons. His actions not only reflect poorly on the company but also create an environment that is hostile and unwelcoming for customers. I am deeply concerned that his behavior may escalate and result in legal repercussions for Albertsons. I strongly urge you to conduct a thorough investigation into Mr. Moleek's conduct and take appropriate actions to rectify the situation. It is crucial for the reputation and success of Albertsons to ensure that all employees adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to hearing about the steps that will be taken to address and rectify this situation.
