Been here many times over the past 10 years. Rooms are pretty nice if you get a view other than the parking lot. For credit- Theyve had a rough go. With the storms and Covid I am sure the budget is way over. Seems like the new-ish owners (Outrigger) are shrewd and over stretched. IF you reserve here right now (April-May 2024), make sure youre getting a good deal - because right now theyre in the middle of renovations as of April 2024. Saws are going, painters everywhere, Rays bar is closed. The pool bar is closed & they dont even send servers around the pool area to ask people if they want anything. Obvious things to me they are not doing. Shocked at the 5 star reviews. Lots of construction noise. However, the Breakfast Buffet is still on ! And great. The grounds are beautiful and Im sure this will pass. But all Im saying is if youre going to be here during the renovation - it better be a really good deal. Once they are past this, then you can expect premium pricing and it will be paradise again. Its a bit far from anything else, so expect to walk a mile for the trolley into town up the hill if you dont have a car. Likely then, probably better service and a much better experience like it was if I ever six years ago.

Attended the Fire and Feast Luau here and with a deep gratitude and appreciation for the performers' beautiful presentations. The food,service and atmosphere all very pleasant.
