Keauhou Resort Condominiums

Keauhou Gardens #1201, two-bedroom, two-bathroom with ocean views. Highly recommend staying here. Unit is so spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Shopping, bike rental & snorkeling are within walking distance. Unit was very clean with each room having a separate AC unit. Only complaint is that there arent any drapes or shades for the living room sliding doors to lanai so sunset was beautiful but also blinded us and heated up the room really quickly. Entire grounds are very well maintained and common areas like pool and grills are clean and constantly cleaned. We had some issues with heavy footed walkers upstairs but thats just normal inconsiderations of people these days.

#111- I agree check-in needs to be earlier and easier. Arrived after dark in the rain and had problems with the door. Took way too long to get it resolved for someone traveling alone. Loved the decor,but the condos need to be cleaned a little better(terrible ceiling fans and gecko doodle everywhere),but.....the price, the view and location are spot on. First time to Hawaii and I was blown away. Never experienced anything like it.

Compared to the costs of other accommodations on the Big Island, an Airbnb/Vrbo rental here is generally a good value. The condos are showing a little age, but they are very clean and private. The pool area is a great place to get some R & R. A golf course cuts through the back side of the complex.
