I was bit worried reading some reviews but it was the best rental experience I've ever had. Lady at the desk was so nice, explained everything about insurance and we got an free upgrade. Everything last maybe 5m, really quick. Thank you Hertz! I will definitely come back here

Desk set up in open area of hotel lobby. One employee to assist. She was friendly, helpful and efficient, but there was a wait in line. Took over 30 minutes to get car. Process to rent and return was easy. Closes at 3 pm.

I'm a Hertz Gold member and walked up to the desk to inquire a few things, like what if we return the car earlier outside of biz hours, and what's the manager special vehicle today, the person behind the desk simply didn't want to answer them or make a sale. We end up renting from Turo. I guess this is what happens when your company goes through multiple bankruptcies and nobody who works there gives a damn about anybody anymore.

This is my favorite Hertz in Oahu (although the other Hertz locations are still far superior than the ones on the mainland).
Its very quick and easy to get a car rental here. The pickup desk is located in the beautiful and breezy Ilikai Hotel. But most importantly, the staff here is friendly and welcoming. Manager Tricia treats me as ohana.
