I can't say enough about Rick and his team. They were all pleasant, courteous and understanding. Always quick to answer text messages or emails. Had a problem with one car, rock got stuck in the brakes. Within a couple hours we had a new vehicle and were on our way. Super people, would highly recommend Hilo Auto Rentals to anyone.

Hilo Auto Sales and Rentals was the best decision for renting a car on the island. I rented one of Ricks cars, it was fuel efficient, clean, and in great condition. Rick was super communicative and very helpful before, during, and after our vacation on Hilo. He picked us up and dropped us off at the Hilo airport to make our traveling smoother. He also gave us a list of fun beaches and parks to go to on the island. Very cost-efficient and very reliable. Would recommend to a family member or friend.

Great place to rent a car! They communicated very well with us and explained exactly how it worked. Someone met us at the airport (they were waiting on us, not us on them, which was nice after a long travel), took us in our rental car to the business where we signed the paperwork. Then we were off! Drop off was just as easy. Car worked well and was clean. Plus it was considerably less than a rental car company. Would definitely use them again on the big island!
