Southern elegance, charm and sophistication. Elegant bar and artwork. Great food and friendly service. Tap House sports bar is two doors away with two levels of seating and wall to wall tv screens for viewing, top drawer all the way.

My husband and I spent the night here in our way back to Ohio. What a fantasy experience! Service was great. The hotel is so unique and the location is awesome. Love the history. The live entertainment and wine/cheese reception was so fun. And breakfast the next morning was just wonderful. The hostess made you feel like home. Very clean as well!

Our included breakfast was better than expected. I thought we would be getting standard continental fare but it was delicious Southern food from the restaurant next door, served tableside but AYCE style. The hotel also had special evening programming ranging from historical talks to live music, accompanied by complimentary wine. We also loved all the historical pictures and displays on every floor. The room we had was very small, but it was still cozy. We had a peek into some of the bigger rooms, and wow! Would think about springing for the more slightly more expensive option if we were to stay here again. Unfortunately nothing too outrageously ghosty, but the ambience was definitely the right mix of relaxing and spooky haha. Rooms: Various sizes rooms, we picked the smallest (cheapest) option but next time I would have chosen a bigger room just so we had more space for our luggage and to move around. Nearby activities: Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Safety: 24hr concierge so we were never worried about coming back late at night and being alone haha Walkability: Everything you need is under a 20min walk away in any direction Food & drinks: Included breakfast and complimentary wine were delicious and a nice touch. Noteworthy details: The evening live music + talks were awesome and I wish more hotels did something like this!

Historic Elegance at it's BEST! I was so excited to book a stay at The Marshall House. So many reasons to stay here, I just had to see it for myself & I am so glad that I did ; ) From booking with Dana to receiving an e-mail confirmation, everything worked smoothly from arrival to check-out! I had the most welcoming person ever upon checking in!!! Jada Prince was there to greet my mother & I with such southern splendor! What a friendly addition to your staff, Marshall House : D I was excited to meet the famous Carlton that I read so many wonderful reviews about. And Patty (who Carlton referred to as Peanut) was a delight! Everyone behind the scenes that I did not mention as well. So much friendliness, I felt like family staying here, good friends that I will remember forever. I got the pleasure of meeting the manager Kaitlin. I was happy to tell her how pleasant our stay was here. The breakfast was a nice morning treat. Great location for tours & walking distance to everywhere, especially Leopold's!
