I will start this review by explaining why Im rating 3 stars. First off, breakfast costs over 13$. This is something that automatically docks points in my opinion as breakfast should be free based on the high amount of money you are already paying to stay at a hotel. This hotel is pretty dirty from what I could see. My room was clean but the overall hotel could use a deep cleaning. The pool in the back looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months and thats probably due to the cold weather and low use but appearance is everything. The gym is nice but there is no cleaning solution to clean off the equipment after use. I wont go on forever with the negatives.
The staff working at this hotel are very friendly and helpful making the overall experience stress free. Once again Ill add my room was very clean and I dont have any complaints about it. I would stay here again for sure due to the awesome location and price.
One thing the hotel needs to look into fixing is the washing machine and dryer. Although I didnt personally see them, the front desk staff told me they werent working. This should be a priority fix and take no longer than a few hours.
Nearby activities: Downtown Savannah is only a few miles away from this hotel.
Walkability: This hotel is located right across the street from a food store and plenty of restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
Food & drinks: There is a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel as well as restaurants all over within walking distance.

My recent stay at this hotel was unequivocally the worst hotel experience Ive ever had. From the onset, the room I was assigned was in a deplorable state; it was not just unclean but neglected, with visible dirt and grime. But the true ordeal began with the air conditioning unit, which was not only excessively loud but also, literally, falling off the wall. This mechanical cacophony necessitated an abrupt room change at 3am.
The problems didnt end there. The following morning, I discovered I had been charged twice for a single breakfast. When I brought this issue to the managers attention, expecting a straightforward resolution, I was met with an outright refusal to remove the erroneous charge. To add insult to injury, upon checkout, I was blindsided by 160 dollars of additional fees that were neither disclosed beforehand nor approved by me.
Throughout this entire debacle, the staffs demeanor far from the professionalism and warmth one might expect, their attitudes ranged from indifferent to uncaring, and at times, even aggressive and intimidating. This treatment not only exacerbated the situation but left me feeling unsafe and scammed.
I thought I was paying for a safe comfortable room to get a good nights sleep, and my experience was the farthest from that I have ever experienced in my life.
Given the stark contrast between my experience and the plethora of positive reviews online, I cant help but question the authenticity of those accolades. It is difficult to imagine that my stay was an isolated incident when the issues I faced spanned various aspects of basic hospitality and customer service. This experience has not only soured my view of this establishment but has also left me wary of its purported reputation.

I deleted my original review because management actually worked with us some. My initial problem was trying to get checked in. We were asked to come back 2 different times to check in and after the last time we were asked decided to just crash in the lobby because we were tired of going out in the heat. It was the hottest day of our stay in Savannah. We sat there and watched at least a dozen people checked in and given rooms while we had been trying for over 4 hours. This was addressed by management. Thank you.
We had to rearrange some of our plans we had made. Not getting to check in and take our things up to our room pushed back the plans we had for Friday and were put off until Sunday. We asked for a late check out and were told by the manager that there were no late check outs because they were booked out. My fianc just happened to check and saw that there were rooms up for grabs that evening.
I feel like a lot of the customer service and management things that occurred here were just covered up with lies on top of lies. It's a 3 star hotel, so I don't expect the service to go above and beyond.
It was just a place to stay while we had an impromptu visit to explore wedding venues.
Will let our guests know what they are getting into if they think about staying here.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention.. the people in the room next to us left their crying infant alone several hours one evening of our stay. Really, really interesting place. Prob won't return.
