Worst Marriott experience I've ever had. Not only did they give me the wrong room when I checked in (and didn't tell me until I had to call downstairs when I was missing a bed), the room and windows were filthy. I was told I couldn't get the room I booked/paid for because they were completely full, but I could try checking out of that room and checking into a new room (aka the one I paid for) the next day. Fast forward to the next day, I call downstairs and am told the same information (check out, leave your bags, your room you reserved will be ready later in the afternoon). I walk downstairs to have the women at the front desk tell me there's no recollection of what I was told on the phone on file, and that all of the rooms are booked. This was quickly corrected because someone noticed a small note on my account saying they had blocked a double bedroom room for me, and we were actually able to check right into the new room (the only positive experience to happen at this hotel). Fast forward a few weeks after check-out, I notice a charge for $120+ on my credit card statement, when I only purchased a few waters at the gift shop. I call the Marriott and am told I was charged for 3 days of parking when I didn't have a car! WOW. I was told over the phone that this $90 charge would be refunded to my credit card, but that it would take 10 business days. Inconvenient, careless customer service all around, but thanks for the refund. Fast forward another month later, checking my credit card statement again, NO REFUND IN SIGHT. I called them again just now and no one knows why I didn't get a refund. No one has any evidence of a refund being processed last month when I called in the first place. The refund request has to go to corporate, and there's no visibility on anyone's end once this goes to corporate, but the woman promises she's going to send it. Thanks for the huge inconvenience this has caused me. Who knew you had to stay so close to sneaky charges for cars you didn't bring to their property during your entire stay. I will never stay at this Marriott ever again.
