Dr George is a great dentist. Ive been with this clinic since Dr. Lester Cohen was the primary dentist and his lovely wife ran the front office (estimated 12 yrs now). While I am satisfied with the dental services, the billing team isnt knowledgeable nor do they have customer service skills. I have never been improperly billed so much, considering that I have a primary & secondary insurance which I have explained to the front office on several occasions, they still cant get it right. One of the reps called my cell right after I hung up with the first rep which I told her that I would call my insurance to sort things and call back (I was still on w/insurance) the 2nd billing rep literally said to me This is Sugarloaf Smiles, what seems to be the problem? Excuse me??? How about an introduction of your name and maybe say I understand your may be frustrated and having billing issues, how can I help? The alternative seems so combative. The interactions havent been customer centered , its an unwelcome change and I dont know if I want to continue care here. They submit claims months later but expect you to pay up front now that they have changed the policy due to other patients not paying their bills (said the 1st rep). If they properly billed insurance the first time then that may cut down on non or late payments.

They have a wonderful staff that welcomed me warmly. The Doctor, hygienist and staff are very professional, kind and make you feel at ease. Great experience. Would definitely recommend to others.
